"THE CHI LOCAL SIG IS THE LIMIT"
OVERCOMING LIMITATIONS TO THE EARLY & ONGOING SUCCESS OF A LOCAL CHAPTER OF SIGCHI
What are the limiting factors to the success of a CHI Local SIG? How can we overcome those limits? What techniques do we have for
identifying and transcending limitations? And just how far can we push those limits? Join representatives of other local CHI chapters --
chartered and prospective, professional and student -- to develop answers to these important questions linked to the theme of CHI 99.
This working meeting will be of value to all of those Local SIGs participating in either (or both) the CHI 97 working meeting (attended by
representatives of 18 Local SIGs from 7 countries) or the CHI 98 working meeting (attended by representatives of 27 Local SIGs from 11
countries), as well as to chartered or prospective Local SIGs -- including student chapters -- that did not exist then or were unable to
participate.
