Consortium: Doctoral Consortium

Sunday 09:00 - 17:30. Monday 09:00 - 17:30.

The CHI 99 Doctoral Consortium is a closed session that provides an opportunity for doctoral students to explore their research interests in an interdisciplinary workshop with a group of established researchers. Participants receive feedback on their work and guidance for its future directions. The Consortium aims to develop a supportive community of scholars and a spirit of collaborative research. Consortium participants, who represent a wide range of disciplines within HCI, have been invited on the basis of submissions about their research projects.

  • Saul Greenberg, University of Calgary
  • Deborah Hix, Co-Chair, Virginia Polytechnic Institute
  • Andrew Monk, Co-Chair, University of York
  • Lucy Nowell, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
