Scott Wood has a Master's degree in computer science, and experience with software development and usability consulting.

Previously Dr. Kurosu worked in the Design Center of Hitachi Ltd., where he initiated research and development in usability engineering and interaction design methodology. Before that, he worked at the Central Research Institute of Hitachi Ltd., where he was engaged in the development of the Japanese word processing system and the LISP programming environment.
